We design, develop, manufacture, and distribute globally market leading products. All design work and prototyping is undertaken in the UK at the Hastings head office. Currently a number of projects that are fundamental to the future success of the Company are in progress and will shortly reach critical development points in their project plans. As a result, the Company is looking for a highly capable and enthusiastic Senior Design Engineer to help bring these and future ideas to life.

The successful candidate will use a range of design software and tools to develop, prototype and test both new products and interim product updates, ensuring designs comply with relevant international safety standards. They will also generate test procedures, oversee their operation and produce comprehensive written reports

The role will take initial concepts, prove their capability, create pre-production prototypes and then refine into production ready designs that are ready to tool as well as maintain and control part number and version integrity and provide effective support to OSET’s stakeholders. Creating and maintaining detailed CAD assemblies and BOM structures for both existing and new products, will also be required.
